About our home

Our urban home is a 19th Century rectory located in Cabbagetown, a downtown Toronto residential heritage district. The home was formerly owned by a Governor General of Canada. It is perfectly preserved and is located in a private walled garden with a fountain and koi pond, which affords a serene escape at the end of the day and a perfect place to relax and barbecue. We are steps to local shops and restaurants. We are also minutes to Toronto downtown attractions.
We also own an 1830s restored farmhouse on 100 acres in Prince Edward County, a rural food, wine and spectacular beach and cycling destination about 2 hours' drive east of Toronto. Our farmhouse is surrounded by fields (including our small vineyard) and is minutes from over forty local wineries and cideries, a number of excellent restaurants and the Sandbanks beaches which are remarkable white sand beaches and dunes that extend for miles and are the perfect swimming spot. Our farmhouse has five bedrooms and sleeps 10+. it has three well-appointed bathrooms. It also has a spectacular chef's kitchen, screened-in porch with fireplace and in-ground heated pool.
