About our home

Our house is situated in one of the most sought after areas of Vancouver. The "Mid Main" area is famous for it's antique stores, funky shops, and award winning restaurants - from diners to vegetarian to asian to upscale Italian, Japanese and French as well as many local pubs. We are one block from Main Street which is really hopping in the summer months. All your food/liquor shopping needs are within 10 - 15 minute walking distance. For clothing shoppers, several designer shops as well as great thrift/consignment shops right in the 'hood. We are on a beautiful treed street and have a private and sunny back garden with BBQ. One bus to downtown and skytrain takes 6 minutes to the heart of the city. Queen Elizabeth Park is a 20 min walk away and offers a gentle hike up to old growth cedars, duck pond, sculpted gardens and a view of the city and mountains at the top. On your way you will pass Hillcrest Community Center which has outdoor and indoor pools, fitness centre etc...The interior offers french doors, inlaid hardwood floors, Oak window trim in all rooms, 2-way fireplace (living and dining rooms), Sunny dining room and kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher and great cooking supplies, 2 bathrooms, main floor and Upstairs bathroom with big tub and shower - and sunny outside deck. One King, One Queen (with large screen TV) and one single bed (main floor). Washer/dryer downstairs. Parking right in front or on the side. Quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours all around who would be happy to answer questions.
