About our home

Our home is on the 2/F of a 3 level walk-up apartment building. It is very quiet,clean and comfortable. It has a large living room, a functional kitchen and eating area. There is also a balcony overlooking a cozy and beautiful courtyard. The master bedroom is an ensuite with a queen bed and a 3-piece bathroom. There is a twin bed in each of the 2nd and the 3rd bedroom, and a full bathroom in the hallway. Coin operated washer and dryer are located in the laundry room on the G/F

My wife Emily and I have been married for 19 years and we have 2 sons age 16 and 14. I am a freelance language interpreter and my wife is an insurance broker. Our job allows us flexible work days and easier travel plannings. Our kids are well-behaved honour roll students who play lots of sports and also do volunteer work. We love the outdoors and are interested in hiking and camping. We have complete camping gears for 4 persons and will be happy to provide same for our guests should they come to our home in the summer season. I am also a classical music lover and my wife likes to read a lot.

Ideally located in Richmond, an ethnically diverse and vibrant community on the west coast of Canada. We are a suburb of the beautiful city of Vancouver, rated consistently among the top three most livable metro in the world. The world renowned Whistle resort, the location for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games is less than 2 hours drive. Skiing and snowboarding are also popular in the local skii hills, most of them less than 40 minutes' drive. In summer time, fishing, sailing, hiking, camping, rock climbing, and mountaineering are all in the proximity and can be done in the same day. Furthermore, there are also museums, science centre, art galleries, and fabulous shopping for those of you who feel interested.
