About our home

Our home is a condominium (apartment) on the 20th floor of a high rise in the Coal Harbour area of downtown Vancouver. We have stunning views from every room in our home, over the city, over the harbour waters, and over Stanley Park as well as toward the mountains north of Vancouver.
Our home is in a secure highrise less than 5 years old. We have 1600 square feet of living space, with 2 bedrooms and an office, with a high speed internet connection, fax machine, etc. We have two balconies overlooking the harbour, an entertainment area with a 36â Sony Tv, with DVD, video, and stereo. Our kitchen is large and modern. We have a gas burning fireplace. The master bedroom has one queen size bed (wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the harbour!), while the second bedroom is used by our daughter Zoe, and has double futon on a frame. There is also a comfortable double pull-out couch in the entertainment room. The master bedroom has an onsuite bathroom with a bath and separate glassed shower, and our second bathroom has a bath with shower.

We also own a chalet in Whistler, 1.5 hours north of Vancouver. Whistler is a world famous ski and summer resort with many opportunities for outdoor activities. The chalet has 4 bedrooms, and may also be available for use.

Juliette is a pediatric neurologist and I own a sporting goods retail business in Vancouver, as well as an online business. We have two daughters; Zoe is 6 years old and Talia is 3 years old.
We love to travel and have had many adventures in other countries. We also love British Columbia and love to have others come and enjoy the natural beauty!

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Vancouver is a city of about 1.3 million people, with a very vibrant inner city core. Vancouver is surrounded by ocean, and has mountains with ski hills overlooking the city. It is known as one of the most scenic cities in the world. Stanley Park is a huge natural park with a 10 Kilometer seawall around it, located in the city center. Our home overlooks the seawall, and we are on the edge of this park.
From our home, one can easily walk to many interesting places. Walking the Stanley Park seawall is a must, as well as visiting its Aquarium, Totem Poles, outdoor swimming pool, local beachs and other sites. Walk the other direction onto Denman Street, and you have your choice of many excellent inexpensive restaurants, especially Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indian, Chinese, Italian French and others. Vancouverâs restaurants are known for their excellence and value! Vancouverâs main shopping street, Robson, is only minutes away, as well as theaters and movie cinemas. Vancouver is also a very safe urban city, vibrant and active late into the night.
Many interesting trips can be made from Vancouver. The Gulf islands, Sunshine Coast and Victoria are a ferry ride away. All these areas have exceptional beauty, including the west coast of Vancouver Island (Tofino). We are familiar with these areas and can give some recommended highlights to visit.
