About our home

Our home is situated on the seawall and is on the South Side of False Creek. It features 3 balconies and a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the city, mountains and water. Terrace is equipped with sunshade canopy, table for 6 and chairs and a barbecue. It is one block from sky train and taxi ferries and 15 minute walk to Granville Island Market! Close to many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores including Whole Foods. It comfortably sleeps 4 people and though not conducive to young children, it would be great for families with teens and preteens. This neighbourhood is ranked #1 in Vancouver and with Vancouver often rated top 5 in the world, it’s one of the nicest areas you could ever stay. Lots of parks and recreation and less then a 2 hour drive to Whistler. The home features 3 levels and 2 full baths. Master bedroom features a Novos foam mattress and fine Egyptian linens. Upstairs sofa bed is one of the best rated on the market and guarantees a comfortable sleep for two. House is styled in mid century design and kitchen comes well equipped as we love to cook. Homeowner is an artist and walls are covered with her original art. Paid parking available across the street and the car is available to use and parked underground. Downtown is a 5 minute subway ride away and this neighbourhood is quiet and the building secure.

Neighbourhood

A 5 minute walk to the subway or water taxis, our quiet neighbourhood is just a few minutes from downtown or Granville Island. One of our favourite restaurants is across the square(Branas) and features beautiful views of the marina that is situated outside our front door. Vancouver comes alive at night in the summer with many restaurants having alfresco dining and fun bars. The seawall offers amazing views and access to Granville Island to the West and Olympic Village and Science World to the East. The Rainbow taxi is a fun way to get to all areas bordering False Creek with cosmopolitan Yaletown directly across from us. Vancouver is a craft beer city and we love our third wave coffee. Try Matchstick or Revolver for a great coffee experience.
