Our house is a bright, well-maintained home located on Triangle Mountain close to the beach, golf, hiking, tennis courts, shopping, biking/walking trails, and other attractions. You can enjoy our outside hot tub and barbecue on the sundeck as well as the large recreation room with 2 pianos downstairs. There is a garage with car and a landscaped yard. The house has 3 bedrooms and all conveniences including HDTV, dishwasher, internet, etc. The Victoria area is considered the most desirable place to live in Canada for its weather, lifestyle and friendly people.
We are a fit, early 60's couple who enjoy travelling to other parts of the world. Jack is retired from government employment and Dawn is self-employed as a piano teacher and bookkeeper. We love outdoor sports and recreation of all types, the beach, music and art. After 3 wonderful exchanges in France and Australia, we are ready to travel again. We would love to get to know you and would respect your home and property. A non-simultaneous exchange is possible.
We live on the southern tip of Vancouver Island off the West Coast of British Columbia in a suburb called Colwood, close to the city of Victoria. The house is within walking distance of the beach where you have open ocean with spectacular views of Victoria to the East, Port Angeles in the USA to the South, and a large bird sanctuary area on the West. You can see the snow-capped mountains and watch the sea planes land in the Inner Harbour of downtown Victoria. There is an excellent ferry service over to Vancouver and the mainland of BC or through the Gulf Islands toward Friday Harbour in the United States. There are also wonderful areas to visit if you drive up Vancouver Island......forests, beaches, whale-watching, historic sites. We've lived here all our lives and can send more pictures of the house and area and answer any questions you might have.
