About our home

We have a large, bright condo in downtown Victoria - within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, museums, the Inner Harbour and all the tourist attractions of the city. The condo has two bedrooms, one a bedroom, one an office, two bathrooms, a shower and a bathtub, a large open living room that leads to an enclosed deck. The kitchen is bright with a stove, fridge, dishwasher and a washer and dryer. The building is steel and concrete and very quiet. The deck has views across downtown and to the ocean. There is a covered parking stall provided, easily accessible from the basement.

We are looking for exchanges close to home - Vancouver, the Okanagan, Oregon and Washington.

The neighbourhood is within downtown, about a 15 minute walk from the popular Inner Harbour and the Royal BC Museum. Good - very good - restaurants are all within a five minute walk. There are coffee houses within a couple of blocks. It is close to major bus routes - a bus route out to the ferry, airport and to Buchart Gardens.

It is about a 20 minute walk to the ocean and 15 minutes to the quaint Cook Street Village. There is lots of shopping close by with the Eaton Centre Mall about 10 minutes away.

We are an urban couple with two dogs (boxers) and both are professionals with jobs within the downtown core - one of us works at the Royal BC Museum, the other at BC Ferries. One of speaks Japanese and the other speaks some French.
