About our home

I offer a one bedroom condominium in a friendly well maintained building withn a 20 minute walking distance to downtown Victoria. My suite is simple, furnished plainly but nicely. It has a gallley type kithcen with stove, fridge, microwave. I have no need for a dishwasher so there isn't one. The bathroom has a tub with shower. Laundry is coin operated and is down the hall. There is cable TV, computer access. There is guest parking in the underground garage.

My name is Douglas and I am a retired Marine Engineer. I am single and live alone. My family is grown and long gone. My interests are sailing, camping and visiting other parts of the country in my camper van. Now I wish to visit other parts of the world while I still can.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

My condo is within a 20 minute walk to downtown Victoria. In the immediate nieghbourhood there is two small grocery stores, the least expensive movie theatre in town, two fine restaraunts, one offering Italian and Greek food, the other more of a family and pub fare. There are several other nice small cafes and a popular coffee shop close by. A recreation centre with swimming pool and work out room are within walking distance. My condo is on a major bus route with abaout 10 minute service during the day. Victoria has a world class museum, a mritime museum and two military museums as well as an art gallery and live theatre.
