About our home

Our house is located in the lovely little city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. We are located on a quiet, tree-lined street that is walkable to all amenities. Our house is cozy, comfortable place to stay.
Halifax itself is a quaint city, that is centrally located for easy day trips to beaches, wonderful hiking and visits to interesting little towns. Located by the sea, Halifax is full of farmers markets, a wonderful boardwalk, boat tours and fun shopping experiences. It features a lively night-life, theatre and a variety of great restaurants to suit everyone's taste.

  1. We are a family of 3 who loves to try new things. Actively seeking direct swaps anytime during July and August, and we are flexible with the amount of time too!

  2. Andrew works in Communications at the Dalhousie University. Tanya is a elementary school teacher. Olive is currently in gr.3 in french immersion.

  3. We are easy going, neat and often on the go!

Where is it?

This quiet tree lined street has so much to offer! Walking distance from grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants but far from noisy. Our neighbourhood is a family friendly place that is welcoming to all and is close to the University. The city of Halifax is very walkable and also has good public transportion. The main downtown area features great restaurant, shops and amenities. You are also near the sea, where you will find a lovely board walk and boats to take you on tours. Visit the wonderful farmers markets all year round. The city has many differnt historic building to visit and neighbourhoods to explore. We also have beautiful city parks to walk and an amazing garden to enjoy. Interested in seeing more of Nova Scotia? Quaint seaside towns are only a drive away. So much to see!
