About our home

Our 4,000 square foot family home, built in 2006, is a modern and spacious open plan home, with bright kitchen, dining area and living room in one big "great" room on the main floor … from oversized windows running all along the back of the house, you can see from almost anywhere into the large, child-friendly gated backyard. If you have kids, open the back door and let them loose in the play area or set up a soccer game on the grass. With no kids, go out back for some al fresco dining in a quiet park-like setting ... the cherry blossom trees are particularly stunning in spring and the pink Dogwood tree is beautiful all year round.

The kitchen is equipped with a Sub Zero refrigerator and Miele appliances including dishwasher, gas cooktop, oven and steamer, and a Panasonic microwave. Laundry facilities, with Miele washer and dryer, are located just off the kitchen, as well as access to the attached garage. The living room is comfy, with large flat-screen television, VCR and DVD players. There is also a private office on the main floor with Mac desktop computer although with Wi-Fi throughout the home, you can access the Internet from anywhere on your own personal devices.

Upstairs are four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The master is bright and airy with a king-size bed and large television, and full ensuite with double sinks, shower with side jets, jacuzzi tub and bidet. The largest bedroom, with its own ensuite, has two twin beds, and there are another two bedrooms each with a twin bed, and a double sink bathroom.

Downstairs is the fifth bedroom with a queen-size bed, another full bathroom and a large and bright playroom equipped with toys and games for all ages, as well as a ping pong table.

We are situated on a quiet street close to local beaches, mountains, shops and restaurants. Dundarave Village is a five minute walk for groceries, excellent restaurants and other amenities including drug store, butcher, bakery and chocolatier(!) as well as the beautiful Dundarave Beach and West Vancouver seawall. We are also five minutes from new West Vancouver Community and Aquatic Centre, the Public Library and local hiking trails at Whyte Lake or Capilano Dam. Downtown Vancouver, shopping on Robson Street, Chinatown, Gastown and gorgeous Stanley Park are twenty minutes away by car or bus, as are our local mountains, Grouse and Cypress. World class Whistler and Blackcomb Ski Resorts, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, is just over an hour away with many winter and summer activities.

Come and enjoy everything our amazing city has to offer from the comfort of a lovely home!

More about us

  1. We are a family of six, my husband and I have four children (three boys and a princess) ages 10, 8, 6 and 5, all in french immersion school.

  2. Before kids, we travelled all over the world and lived in six cities in four different countries … now we want our kids to experience other places and other cultures.

  3. We are an active family; we love tennis, golf, skiing and hiking, and of course, ice hockey!
