About our home

Our home is very special to us. We have lived in this area for over 12 years and we are very happy here. We have made many luxurious improvements to our home over the years and feel our home has much to offer in the way of comfort and tranquility. We are only a short 45 min. drive from Alberta's capital city Edmonton, home of the largest shopping mall in North America. We are also within driving distance from Banff/Jasper Alberta in the Rocky Mountains!

More about us

My husband Danny is a hydraulic mechanic and I, Naomi, am a stay at home mother. We are a close family of six and are very excited to see more of the world together. Our four daughters (ages 17,15,14,12) are all home educated so travel any time is possible. We are advised to see Europe in the fall so this is our preferred time to visit but we remain open to other times as well.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our small city is rich with history and North American Native Culture. Their are many beautiful museums in the area and the train is a charming reminder of Wetaskiwins' history. There is a large Native Band Township only 15 Kms from Wetaskiwin where annual Pow Wow Celebrations take place. The location and size of Wetaskiwin is, in our opinion, the best of both worlds! Small enough in size and population to be a nice get-away but large enough to be filled with fun activities. Swimming, bike/walking paths, tennis, shopping, resuraunts/pubs, museums, golfing, fitness clubs and much more!
