“It is official -- this is our new favorite place :) It was such a beautiful trip with our family (2 adults and 3 teenagers)... we are all begging Maureen to let us come back (aka never leave !!). The condo is perfectly set up, warm and fully stocked. The location is heavenly with such a the view, and with the HUGE spa below!!! Maureen was just a dream to work with and simply full of information. Honestly, we could not have had a better trip. It was also very nice that they arranged such wonderful snow for us too!! We hope she lets us visit again :) ”

About our home
SKI Magazine readers rank Whistler resort number one in North America (September 2014). Our beautiful home, featuring Northwest stone & wood architecture, is a luxury accommodation perched high above Whistler’s Creekside village. You will enjoy spectacular views of the Whistler valley, lakes & neighboring mountain peaks. The open concept floor plan, wood accents, granite counters & heated slate floors are just a few of the many features the town home has to offer. Other amenities include a flat screen TV, free WIFI, washer/dryer, private deck, a rock-faced gas fireplace, common area hot tub, underground parking garage & bike storage. There are 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. The master bedroom & bath occupy the top floor for total privacy. From this level, sliding doors open onto a Juliet balcony with a view of the ski hill and the starry evening sky.
A common area hot tub is nestled in the trees a few steps from the townhouse. There is a changing room near by.
The kitchen is fully equipped for those gourmets who love to cook. A large balcony with outdoor furniture invites you to dine alfresco amid the tree tops. For those who prefer to dine out, some of Whistler’s finest restaurants are in the neighborhood. For food & wine aficionados, there are several award winning restaurants offering an eclectic mix of menu choices. Everything from fine dining to more casual fare is available. The annual Cornucopia food & wine festival offers 11 days of tastings, seminars and parties. If you love nightlife, there are several nightclubs for your dancing pleasure. Art galleries, the Whistler Museum, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra concerts, Whistler Film Festival & the Aboriginal Culture Center round out the Whistler experience.
Whistler is an all season resort with a large range of outdoor activities. In winter you will enjoy world class downhill & cross country skiing, snowboarding & snowshoeing. From our front door it is a 500 meter walk to the legendary Dave Murray Downhill, site of the 2010 Olympic Men’s Downhill & considered one of the best slalom & Super G courses in the world. From here you can ski to the lifts during ski season without the necessity of a car.
In summer there are numerous reasons to be outside – pristine lakes, numerous bike trails, zip trekking, white water rafting & hiking. Bikers of all experience levels will find paved paths, flowing single tracks, free ride playgrounds & epic alpine trails. Four championship golf courses, including one Nicklaus & one Palmer designed course, offer a variety of challenges. If organized events are your thing, Whistler hosts several including Tough Mudder, the Whistler Valley Trail Run & Crankworx, as well as on-going ski competitions.
We have lived part-time in Whistler for many years so we know the area well. I would be happy to make specific recommendations. Just ask!

“Maureen very kindly agreed to swap at the last minute as we had a swap fall through. Her communication was excellent. The apartment was really great, very clean and organised with comprehensive notes. We loved the view and the feeling of floating in the tree tops, the hot tub had a lot of use and was really hot! We walked, biked, golfed and ran and enjoyed the best pizza in the local place in their village. Thanks Maureen! ”
“We had a summer stay at Maureens' place and it was wonderful. Whistler is a great area to explore and staying here made it even more special. The apartment was a home away from home; clean, comfortable and very well equipped. (Including the best coffee maker!) The view from the deck is beautiful and the hot tub was an added bonus. Positioned at the top of a steep hill, a car is recommended. Definitely worth our thousand points!”
“Maureen's home was not only ideal for us, it was beautifully fitted out, spotless and very comfortable. There were clear instructions about everything and we had a very happy time there. 10 out of 10! ”
“An absolutely wonderful stay. Maureen and her family were so helpful in providing information and arranging the trip before we arrived and very communicative if we had any queries. The setting is just stunning with some amazing views - the pictures on Love Home Swap don't do it justice! The house is usually ski-in ski-out from the end of the road, but even for our stay in a year when there was a real shortage of snow, we only had a short drive from the lifts. It didn't impact on our enjoyment of Whistler at all, especially with free and plentiful parking in the area. So nice to enjoy the peace and quiet of the balcony and hot tub! The home is superbly equipped and we lacked for nothing. Thank you SO much!”
