About our home

Our historic and renovated, cozy home is located on a small dead end street with a view of the harbour. We are close to transportation and shopping. We love our home and are confident you will enjoy it when you are visiting Nova Scotia. We do have a quiet and affectionate kitty cat who is in and out and loves hanging around in the garden.

Features

More about us

  1. We are a semi retired couple, parents of three young men who have dispersed across Canada, and we spend our off time at the cottage, at home or travelling.

  2. Mike is a geologist and I own a travel company.

  3. We love visiting new places, learning, enjoying new foods, meeting new people. At home we enjoy our cottage, renovating, boating and music.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are in an established community in the city of Dartmouth which is part of Halifax Regional Municipality. Dartmouth and Halifax are like twin cities and are across the harbour from each other. You walk, drive or take ferries between the downtown cores. The ferry between the city centres are a seven minute ride across beautiful Halifax Harbour. In our neighborhood we are close to beaches, golfing, shopping, and have easy access to the airport by car. There are restaurants, pharmacies, clinics and a primary hospital in the neighborhood. We have lived here since 2000 and we love it here.
