About our home

My apartment is located in an area which considered luxirous apartment area. Most expatriates who work in Beijing prefer to live this area. My apartment is on the 2nd floor where we can see the beautiful garden in our apartment building. The garden is beautifully maintained by the management office. My apartment has one master bedroom and another room for guest room (single bed) and I use this room as study room where I put my Apple Desktop in this room. This apartment building was built in 2007 and it is a newly decorated apartment. The living room has a comfortable sofa and a traditional Chinese chair (for 2 persons) and have a large-screen flat TV set. The kitchen has everything you need except for dish-washer. The bathroom has shower room and a washing machine. We don't use dryer in Beijing because the weather is dry. We also have satillite English TV channels including CNN, BBC, HBO, Star Movie, and other sports channels. Visitors who do not understand Chinese can still watch TV. I also have a VW beatle but I don't recommend that foreigners drive in Beijing because of our bad driving behavior.

More about us

  1. I am a single mother and well-educated career woman. I now work for a Germany company in China. I can speak very fluent English. I planned to spend two weeks in NYC in early October. My daughter studies in US as a highschool student. She wants to go an art college and NYC and we would like to visit some art schools when I am in US. I have been in NYC several times and I love this city so much. This is my first time to do apartment exchange and only my daughter and I will live in the apartment. We are all quite neat people. I stronly recommend someone who is interested in Chinese culture to come to Beijing in early October particular this year. First, the best time to visit Beijing is Oct with blue sky and cool weather. Second, this year, China will cecelerate its 50th year anniversity of the establishment of People's Republic of China. There will be a big celeration at Tian An Men Square in Beijing.

Where is it?

This apartment building has only been built for 2 years and the complex has a beautiful garden inside of the complex. The management office provides excellent services and provide a good secrity services to ensure the safe living in the complex. Some staff can speak English Many expatriates also live in our complex. The complex is quiet. The complex is located in the eastern part of Beijing. There are many Chinese and western restaurants nearby. A local supermarket is only accross the street. You can find local food, milk, fruits, vegies and everything you needs and they are quite cheap. I also have some restaurants telephone numbers for delivery. It is cheap to get a taxi to the places you go except for some places like Great Wall. If you are interested in coming to Beijing, I can help you to make a travel plan because I enjoy doing this and I often do it for my foreign friends.
