About our home

Hello, we live in a three bedroom luxury apartment that has two large bathrooms. Our apartment is brand new and it has polished floorboards, air-conditioning, duct heating, all modern appliances, 24 hour security. Our apartment has a balcony and is located in a beautiful complex with gardens and fountains. We have access for two people to our vip clubhouse that includes a large indoor pool, billiards room, gym, fitness classes etc. Our third bedroom is used as a large study with fax, copy machine, there is wireless internet throughout the apartment. There are two queen size bedrooms. The apartment comes with our ayi (if you wish- this cost is covered by us). Lucy can work for you 3 hours a day from Mon-Fridays-she is excellent at cleaning, ironing, washing and she is an amazing cook. She can prepare and leave either lunch or dinner for you and she can cook Western or Chinese food (cost of food to be your responsibility). Beijing is very cheap to stay- we have taxi's at the door, parks a 5min walk and great Western restaurants a short walk away. Beijing is a cultural and shopping mecca- and with the Olympics arriving the city is just amazing!

More about us

My partner and I work for one of the best International Schools in the world. We are in our mid 30's. I have completed my Doctor of Education (PhD) and we are both originally from the Gold Coast, Australia. We have no children. My partner teaches high school science and I teach early childhood. We have both worked overseas-and we love being able to teach around the world and follow our passion of travel. We are non smokers who love art, music, photography and exploring new places. We love the outdoors and being active. We are very neat and tidy and responsible.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our complex is called Richmond Park and it is in Lido. Our apartment is VERY quiet as we are at end of quiet street, yet we are a short taxi ride to the centre of Beijing. Lido is a wonderful part of Beijing as we have many expats living in the area we have a wonderful varirty of food from around the world at our doorstep. The famous 798 art district is close to our home. Our apartment complex is beautiful and we love living here. We have the best of everything at our fingertips!
