About our home
Large three-bed modern family home in Pudong area of Shanghai city. Situated in a quiet gated international community, the house is still located close to shops and restuarants. Inside, the house is air-conditioned with modern appliances. Our ayi ("auntie") works 3 days a week to clean, look after our cats and generally look after the house. There is: cable TV, DVD, Wii and PC with wideband internet access. A playroom contains (boys) toys, and there are bikes in the garage. The large terrace, with gas barbeque, leads out to the large garden which has a children's playhouse.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Pudong is the newer Eastern side of Shanghai city and offers good access to the city centre while being quieter and more open. There is a large Carrefour supermarket nearby and a number of international and Chinese restaurants. Shanghai itself offers a huge range of shops and restaurants, as well as attractions such as Expo 2010 (20 minutes drive from the house).
