About our home

Our apartment is very open a light with great views from all the bedrooms. It is a gated community with beautifully landscaped walkways throughout the premises. The pool is exquisite and provides a great escape form the busy China neighborhood beyond the gates. From the gardens of the apartment community there is a great hiking path into the mountainside which provide breathtaking views of Hong Kong harbor.

More about us

  1. We moved here last summer from Portland, Oregon. My husband and I teach at the local International school here in Shekou. We have two boys, 8 and 11, and we are enjoying our time here immensely! We are looking to travel home to Portland for the month of July and therefore looked into this website.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is a mix of the Chinese community and an Ex-patriate community. This blend allows you to get acquainted with China and also provides a more western experience if you are missing home.
In addition, it is only a 5 minute walk to the ferry which takes you right into the heart of Hong Kong in only 45 minutes. You can also take a 25 minute ferry ride to the Hong Kong airport which provides easy access to visiting the rest of Asia.
