The perfect Costa Rican vacation awaits! Enjoy views of the pacific ocean from the balcony, or the breathtaking sunsets from the beach, which is only steps away. This beautiful ocean view condo is nicely furnished and features a king sized bed in the master, with private bath and a queen and twin bed in the second bedroom, also with private bath. The large, gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, cookware, granite countertops, dishwasher and appliances. Free Wi-Fi, Local phone calls, Cable TV and 24 hour security. Towels, linens and beach chairs are provided. Central air conditioning and Washer/Dryer in unit. Large, resort style pool with cascading waterfall and plenty of space to relax. Only steps to famous Tamarindo Beach. Concierge service is available and airport transportation can be arranged. The town is walkable and a car is not required. (In 11 years we have never rented a car). We provide a cleaning service before and at the end of your stay and assume you would provide the same for a Classic exchange. The beach was just a short walk across the street and we had many wonderful restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. Communication was perfect and the condo was extremely comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. We had a great time just enjoying the lovely pool and or the great view from the balcony. “What a great swap experience! Everything was perfect! Tamarindo is one of the best place in Costa Rica and the beautiful condo itself is located just a few steps away from the beach in the center of the town. Loved the pool, the balcony and the sunsets. The cleaners prepared with some snacks and towel-art for us, which was very welcoming. Kathryn is a great host, easy to communicate with. Fastest response ever, kind and so flexible, thank you for this experience!”
“Our stay at katlhyn's apartment in Tamarindo was wonderful!! . The location in front of the Ocean Pacific was perfect as well as beautiful with breathtaking sunsets. Katlhyn was a great host, very helpful! Everything is close by, a few steps away you'll find bakery, supermarket, good restaurants, and if you want surfing lessons, too. My family and I had a beautiful vacations, we were happy and relaxed. It would be great to come back. I highly recommend this fantastic location. Thank you Katlhyn! ”

My husband Ron and I are from Upstate New York with three grown children. Ron is a retired IT Professor. I am a retired Psychologist. We are nonsmokers and enjoy the beach, wine, travel and local exploration. Our beautiful ocean-view condo is a vacation home/rental, so non-simultaneous exchanges are available. Our children are grown, but we may have our daughter and her husband join us on vacation.
We are respectful of your property as we would assume you would do the same. A $75 cleaning fee is charged for all POINTS swaps to defray some of the cost. We hope you enjoy Costa Rica as much as we do!
We are looking for a classic exchange for Spain or Italy in Fall 2023 and Hawaii in 2024. We are no longer taking points until further notice.
Tamarindo is a safe fun town, with a quaint mixture of American style conveniences and the local flair of a tropical beach town! It is known for it's beautiful beach, breathtaking sunsets and outstanding surfing. We are only an hour from Liberia Airport & 4 hours from San Jose airport. We are perfectly situated in the heart of the town, surrounded by shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Everything is in walking distance, so a car is not necessary. The beach is directly across the street, less than a 2 minute walk. The local people are very friendly and most speak fluent English. This is a very safe area, with so much to enjoy!.
