About our home
Dear all,
Our rural home is situated in the hills above Crikvenica. It has a beautiful seaview from the pool.
The house has three bedrooms (6 people) and two bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a stone room with the rural bathroom. On the first floor (there is no inner stairs to the first floor) there is well equipped kitchen, adjoining dining room and living room. Also, there is bathroom and pink bedroom with a private balcony.
The inner stairs from the 1st floor lead to the romantic attic room. The house has two air-conditioners and wood heating.
In the front of the house there is a terrace and a yard surrounded by the stone walls. Outside of the yard there is a garden with a pool.

“We made an exchange with Borana and Marko in April this year and had a fantastic time. Their home was very comfortable and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.The weather was very sunny and warm. The sea view and surroundings were very picturesque and relaxing. We were impressed by the unspoiled nature around us, the crystal clear waters and also the very kind, helpful and multilingual people we met. Croatia has also a very interesting and rich cultural heritage to offer. Their lovely home is a 15 minute drive into the town which had plenty of shops, restaurants and nice beaches. Prior to and during the exchange Borana was very helpful and didn't mind answering any questions we had. She kindly asked a friend to welcome us upon arrival. This lady was very helpful. Our home was very well looked after and clearly respected. It was clean and tidy on our return. We would highly recommend an exchange with Borana and Marko. This has been an excellent experience for all of us.”

We are Borana and Marko, a young married couple in the late twenties. Marko is engineer and I teach at a university. We are non-smokers.
We are in tourist business so we can offer you one more bigger property similar to this one. Our houses are available from autumn to spring.
Simultaneous and non-simultaneous exchange is possible.
For us, Home exchange is the way of meeting people, exploring other ways of life and letting others to feel our still unexplored land.
We are sure you will find Croatia a good choice for a holiday, and realize that every season is delightful in our beautiful picturesque village.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Our house is located in a small, quiet village close to so many activities. There is horse riding, paragliding, aquarium, adrenalin park, hiking, cycling, diving...
There are nice restaurants with fresh and delicious local Mediterranean food and coffee bars both - in the hills and near the sea and beaches. We will recommend you the good ones.
You can also take a tour to nearby islands - Krk, Cres, Lo¨inj.
If you prefer museums, theater, cinema and shopping, you can go to nearby city of Rijeka (35 min by car). Rijeka is very famous for the great international Carnival (http://www.ri-karneval.com.hr ) with more than 5000 participants and 100 000 viewers. You can put a mask on and enjoy yourself like we do.
For NATURE lovers we are close to several national and nature parks (Plitvice lake, Brijuni islands, Velebit mountain, Risnjak and Učka). Famous Plitvice Lakes are on the UNESCO's World Heritage List http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr
CITIES- In one day trip you can easily reach: Venezia 3.5h, Trieste 2h, Ljubljana 2.5h, Zagreb 1.45h and Zadar 3.5h.
