About our home
The house of family Viskovic is situated in a peaceful part of the town Hvar. Distance to the center of the town is only 10 minutes by walk. The nearest beach is 300 meters far away, and supermarket is on 100 meters. Very close to our house is a DIVING CENTRE. My apartment has bed room with balcony, kitchen with dining room and bathroom with WC, with aircondition and SAT TV. In front of the house there is a parking place for your vehicles.
From my balcony you can sit and relax, watch the sunset and enjoy. Or you can go to the town, find a nice restaurant and eat good fish and drink fine wine.

I am 25 years old, history professor and archeologist. I work in town of Hvar administration for culture, and in town library.
I live in a family house in my apartment, and I want to explore the world. I have not done a home exchange before but I'm keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see mine.
My apartment is available whole year except from 15th of June to 20th of September, because in the summer I rent my apartment. But If you would like to come to Hvar in the summer I can give you a room for 2 persons.

The city of Hvar is a unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich cultural and historical heritage, and mundane, tourist present.
It is situated in picturesque nature, facing the southern, side of the world that has given it all Mediterranean attraction and cheerfulness; facing sea, that gave it splendid and repeatable history, Hvar is an inexhaustible treasury of the scenery, atmosphere and adventure.
Its name derives from the Greek name for island and town, that stood where today Stari Grad (Hvar became an island’s centre in 13th century) stands - PHAROS.
Hvar gained glory and power during middle ages being an important port within the Venetian, naval empire. Today, it is centre of island’s tourism and one of the favourite destinations in Dalmatian riviera - a town of smiling and courteous people, who are almost only dedicated to tourism.
