Where is it?
Klenovica is a small and peaceful village just south of much more "lively" and the Riviera of Crikvenica, Selce, Makati. From Klenovice stretches over 100 km long, sparsely populated belt of the coast at the foot of the Velebit mountain. Klenovica is primarily a destination recommended for those looking to awaken by the birds. The town has several restaurants, as well as cafes, a few shops, a post office, camp, gas station, and, if necessary, the car park is free to use and does not leave until the end.
If they feel like the usual summer crowd, just go to the 20 km distant Crikvenica and mingle with many customers in the City (sandy) beach or take a stroll along the waterfront until late night cafes open.
Klenovica area is very rich in fish, which they know and dolphins that visit the area and with a little luck they can see. Klenovice regular visitors for years as swans - perhaps the only case where they live in the sea. In restaurants Klenovica excellent seafood - restaurants even have their own fishing boats.
To stay Klenovica should separate day for a trip into the interior; within 20 minutes of the rise coming in the real mountain landscape at over 1,000 m altitude. Winter Center "Bjelolasica" is only 40 km air distance from Klenovica.
Also highly recommended is a visit to the Plitvice Lakes. Appartment is about 7 km from Novi Vinodolski, cca 15 km from the Crikvenica, cca 50 km from Rijeka, cca 600 km from Dubrovnik.. More about Klenovica you can find at http://www.klenovica.net or about Novi Vinodolski www.tz-novi-vinodolski.hr/
