“We stayed at both Zoran and Lora’s beautiful apartments in Zagreb and Novalja. Lora’s Mom and her friend met us on arrival in Zagreb and gave us a very warm and friendly welcome which made us immediately feel at home. We also received some welcoming traditional Croatian foods and treats and the most delicious filo pastry. We found both apartments in a very tidy and neat state, comfortable and well equipped for all our needs. We enjoyed Zagreb so much, especially the old city, that we extended our stay. The availability of their car also made it possible for us to visit interesting villages and historic landmarks; however, you don’t really need a car in Zagreb as public transport is regular and within easy distance from the apartment. We also had a fabulous stay in Novalja on Pag Island; the apartment is very close to the beach and town center which offer good restaurants and shopping markets. The Island has magnificent scenery and historic landmarks. We met Zoran and Lora for breakfast when they returned from their exchange in Malaysia and found them very sincere, kind and friendly. Our communication with Lora prior to and during our stay was very easy and relaxed and she responded without delay to our questions. We are very privileged that Zoran and Lora made this exchange possible, we have had the most wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed the stays in Zagreb and Novalja very much.
