“We spent our autumn holidays in Pakostane. In October we had really nice weather. The apartment is located on the top floor of the house. With 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom sufficient for a maximum of 5 persons. The beautiful and very large terrace serves as a living room. In the small village restaurants and cafes were open and we could rent a boat. Not all over the islands, the restaurants are still open at this time of the year, but we have had many wonderful experiences. We met incredibly nice people and explored a land with a multitude of islands. Do not forget bathing shoes and wetsuit, there are many sea urchins everywhere on the coast. Definitely try out SUP to the small offshore islands. Many thanks to Jean-Pierre.”

“We spent an amazing holiday in this lovely apartment in Pakoštane. First of all, the pictures don't do it justice. The apartment is much, much better than what one would imagine by looking at photos. It is modern, well equipped and very comfortable (great bed in the main bedroom with a sea view). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything, so cooking at home is a real pleasure. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom is also very comfortable. The main feature of this special apartment is a huge terrace with stunning views, especially at sunset. Alfred Hitchcock on the occasion of his visit to nearby Zadar, in May 1964 said »Zadar has the most beautiful sunset in the world, more beautiful than the one in Key West, in Florida, applauded at every evening.« Well, I would say you can enjoy the same sunset from this apartment's terrace every evening! You should also explore Zadar and experience that famous sunset by the amusing Sea Organ. The apartment location is second to none. You are literally living on the beach. It is especially pleasant in the evenings to sit on a terrace with a glass of wine, stare at starry skies, and just listen to the waves crashing on the shore - pure magic! Centre of Pakoštane is an easy 5 min walking distance. You have everything you need for a comfortable holiday there: market with seafood and tasty local fruits and veggies, fish-shop, butchers, shop with local delicacies, bakeries, several supermarkets, many restaurants, bars, cafes etc. For excursions it is easy to arrange a boat trip to Kornati islands from Pakoštane or Biograd and visit Krka. Nearby historic Dalmatian towns are well worth exploring, Zadar (40 min drive), Šibenik (30 min drive) and Split (1h and 30 min). Trogir near Split (an hour drive) is also a must. The local beach is very pleasant and child-friendly with pebbles outside and sand in the water. The sea is crystal clear with stunning colours ranging from green, turquoise to deep blue. Jean-Pierre provided first-class customer service answering many questions and giving local tips. We had a perfect holiday and will come back again!”
“Jean-Pierre kindly let us stay in his comfortable well equipped apartment at the end of May, the view from the large balcony was stunning, it was a lovely short coastal walk down to the town of Pakostane where there was every thing that was needed, shops, bars and very good restaurants - the Gabre being our favourite. Our first time in the beautiful country of Croatia, we will most certainly go back. Sonia and Martin”
“We had a wonderful stay at Jean-pierre's place. It has abalcony which has amazing sea views. The house has anything you will need for your stay and all shops are a short stroll along the beach. A++”
“We just had the most Amazing relaxing stay at Jean-Pierre's apartment in Pakostane in Croatia. The position is INCREDIBLE!!! Although it is a small village a short distance from the main hub of the larger towns/cities, it has many restaurants and bars and was accessible by car to all main attractions such as Krka National Park and the boat cruises, diving boats etc around the islands leave every 2nd day or so. We wish that we had more time here as it is a piece of paradise. We highly recommend it and are so grateful to Jean Pierre for sharing this wonderful part of Croatia with us. Thanks again....we hope to be back one day !”
“We had a fabulous stay at Jean-Pierre's apartment. It was spotlessly clean and perfectly located to get to the restaurants, watersports etc. The view from the balcony was superb looking over the sea. We really enjoyed every minute! Thank you!!! ”

“This small apartment overlooking the sea is a wonderful place to stay. It is quiet and clean. Beaches nearby and also a nice shaded pine tree beach. The simple town of Pakostane is a very good location to start trips and has some very good local restaurants. The boat trip to Vrgada island is charming. The lake nearby, Vransko jezero, is very nice to picnic. You can do some hiking there. Biograd and Zadar are nice to. We highly recommend this apartment. Very nice host to.”
