“We - a family of four from Sweden, 2 small kids - spent a week at Sibla in June 2012. It was the perfect place for us. The house was very nice, with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and a veranda under a roof plus a barbecue in the garden. The island Silba is very cosy and its a 5 minutes walk to the child friendly beach and 100 meter to the mainsquare and the 2 shops. There are 5-6 restaurants at Silba and a few bars and the price are, for us from Sweden, very moderate, a coffe is Euro 1 and a beer Euro 2. Silba is very relaxing since there are no cars and all people are very friendly. On Saturday we took the catamaran to Zadar and spent half a day in the old town and bought vegetables and fresh fish at the market. The owner of the house, Romana, was very friendly and answered all our questions, she arranged for a taxi to pick us up at airport outside Zadar and it was only a short drive (Euro 10) to the harbour. At Sibla a lady who spoke both English and German met us and gave us the key and showed the house. We hope to get back here soon.”
