Center is quite close to apartment. The communication was exact and very good. They also took very good care of our house. The home is just on the right spot to go also to small villages and towns (like Omiš). Split is a landscape surrounded by history. “I was happy to discover Split which is a lovely city on the Adriatic Riviera. Beautiful historical visits and a wonderful landscape around. The apartment is a bit outside but connexion is easy with the bus, or by walking 25 min. Convenient and well equipped, nicely decorated. Where is it?
Split is a Roman town that adorns the palace. The central part of the city of Split spinning narrow stone streets, ancient monuments and medieval buildings. The remains of the ancient palace, the core on which the city grew. Well preserved to this day, remains of ancient buildings, along with late medieval extensions are valuable archaeological and historical-artistic complex which makes the 1979th was included on UNESCO's World Heritage list.
Split the main Dalmatian port is connected to all Croatian islands. By boat or catamaran to the Dalmatian islands is easy to reach for a short period (eg. the island of Hvar is an hour with catamaran ride).
For hiking lovers, around Split are three mountains Mosor, Biokovo and Kozjak to which is easy to come. Omis, small town nearby Split offers activities such as rafting on Cetina river and zip line with beautiful sightseeing.
For a night life Split has interesting cafe bars, wine bars and traditional restaurants located in the city center, and disco clubs around the center. Dubrovnik is a four hour drive from Split.
