Neighbourhood

Vrsine is small and quiet village almost untouched by time, surrounded by olive groves, located 10 minutes away from Trogir, half hour from Split and ¦ibenik and just few minutes from the nearby beautiful beaches and clear blue sea. A holiday in Vrsine is ideal if you want the peace and tranquillity of the countryside yet all the amenities of Trogir and nearby towns are very close. In 1997 UNESCO protected Trogir as a unique and well preserved historic-Romanic-island town. Trogir has been known as a ‘monument town’. Some of the most famous sights in the town are the Cathedral of St Lawrence with its remarkable portal by Master Radovan, the Kamerlengo Fortress, the Town Gate, the Čipiko Palace, the Town Hall, the Church of St Nicholas, a museum, a picture gallery and the ‘Kairos’ art collection.
Not far from Trogir, there are three beautiful national parks of Croatia. You will be delighted with beautiful landscapes of the national park Krka, Plitvice Lakes and Kornati islands. Also, you can visit the fascinating Roman city of Split where you will find the Emperor Diocletian's Palace. The central part of the city of Split is a whirl of narrow stone streets, ancient monuments and medieval buildings. Remains are ancient palace, the core upon which the city grew. Well preserved to this day, remains of ancient buildings, along with late medieval extensions are valuable archaeological and historical-artistic complex which makes the 1979th was included on UNESCO's World Heritage list.
