About our home

Most notable of the house is the magnificent 180 degree view over the Spanish Water, a natural harbour on the island of Curacao. Our home is spacious, light, comfortable, clean and is constructed in such a way that the tropical breeze ventilates the house optimal. The living room is connected to the large front- and back porch by a wall of sliding doors. Adjoining the living room is the kitchen, which features all modern kitchen equipment needed, including a cooking island. Furthermore the house is ringfenced and has a large garden with palm trees, a mango tree and lots of flowers.

More about us

  1. My wife (Eva - 35) and me (Wilfred - 36) are living for 2 years on the island of Curacao. I'm working for an off shore bank, my wife used to work in marketing (fast moving) and is currently also working in the banking industry.

Originally we're from the Netherlands. We have two daugthers; the oldest one (Fieke) was born on June 1st 2005 and the youngest (Mare) was born on March 15th 2007.

We love the tropical experience we currently enjoy on Curacao.

Where is it?

Jan Sofat is the oldest gated community of Curacao. It's located near the Spanish Water, which is the number one sailing, boating and also living area of Curacao.

The neighboorhood is characterized by a mixture of nationalities and local people. Furthermore it has strong social cohesion, evidenced by several social neighborhood activities during the year.
