About our home

Our home is a pleasant and open viewed spacious home, giving the sense of being on a constant vacation. We have two airconditioned rooms (master and kids room). The way the house is built, you automatically find yourself using the porch and outside as the main living area.

More about us

We are a (relatively young) couple in our early 40's. Richard is a financial advisor with his own company, Melanie is a counselor and owns The Upper Room, that serves as a retreat where people can relax and (re)connect spiritually, away from the business and stress of everyday life. We have two kids (4 and 5 years old)who really make the most of living in the outdoors! It is our first time considering a home exchange.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our home is located in one of the better areas of Curacao, Jan Thiel, on the East side of the island. Restaurants/terraces and the beach are at about 10 minutes walking distance from our home. As soon as you step outside you can join others for and jogging and/or walking in this beautiful neighbourhood. Also there are several resorts and activities close by, offering diving, sailing etc.
