About our home

Our 2 stories eco - penthouse is set in the residential, trendy, neighborhood of Letná which is 20 minutes walk from The Prague castle as well the city center. Letná is full of nice cafes, small restaurants and easy going people.
The house is situated 50 m from the entrance to the biggest park in Prague - Stromovka. The building is over 100 years old and is fully reconstructed with a lift and intercom.
The flat is 180 sqm, with 2 terraces - one enclosed to the living area and one rooftop where you can have 360 around Prague, including the castle. Its bright with morning sun and perfectly quiet as the flower terrace face the inner yard with tree views.
Living area 80 m2 on the second floor has all you need to relax – full sound system, home cinema, fireplace, and hummock plus three doors to the big terrace with BBQ.

The main bedroom has Holland eco bed and it's simple and clean with entrance to walk in closet for your use.
The guest bedroom is fitted with double bed.
Both rooms have separate bathrooms one with shower and bath the small one only shower. There is the third bathroom on the 2nd floor.
The flat has the utility room with a washing machine and separate drier as well food storage with wine fridge and freezer.
The kitchen is fully equipped with high standard appliances. We love healthy cooking, especially healthy one, so juicer, Vitamix, Kitchen aid and the steam own is the standard.

All living rooms are fitted with wooden flooring, modern lighting and bedrooms have window blinds. The whole flat has recuperation as well the special eco heating so the nice environment is ensured during whole year without disturbing air-condition. Basically, we built a nearly passive house on the apartment building.

Neighbourhood

Letna district is arguably one of the sought after places to live in Prague. It benefits from its location just across the river from the busy historical center, which means you’re near it all if you want, but not in the middle of it all if you don’t. Nestled in between two best Prague parks, the Letenský park and the Stromovka, the area is great for families: there’s always somewhere to go or something to do, and far from traffic, too. Also, the people of Letna create a lively, healthy community who care about their neighborhood, having, for instance, voted an entirely independent candidate of a purely local movement the Mayor of the 7th district.

The Letna is spread over a hill and the plain at its top, overlooking the city center, has always been a valuable and strategic space. Today, Letna is known for its relative affluence, a Bohemian feel with lots of art-related spots, incl. the National Gallery or the Academy of Fine Arts, and a plethora of independent galleries. It is also a living gallery of the ubiquitous 1930s Constructivist buildings, bearing witness to the district’s boom in the 1930s.
