About our home

We are looking for a reciprocal summer week exchange near a beach in the Mediterranean in Late July or Early August. Sorry that we really cannot consider other places and dates this Spring and Summer. We appreciate your not writing if you are not a good fit with us at the moment! We can consider exchange ideas for school holiday (marked in our calendar) in the fall, winter and spring of 2020.

We offer you our sunny, quiet apartment, 95 sq meters, which is very comfortable and in a central Prague location (20 minute walk to Old Town Square, 5 minute tram ride from the Center) with an elevator, Wi-Fi, high-speed internet access, excellent beds, dishwasher, washer and dryer laundry machines. We are on the 3rd fl. There is a living room/office/dining room w a balcony, fully equipped kitchen/corridor and a grown up bedroom complete with queen size comfortable bed and gold fish, and a large child's room with queen size loft bed and couch bed underneath suitable for up to 3 kids. Our flat is most appropriate for a family but we welcome an exchange w a couple if you are willing to let us stay in your home with our well behaved 10 year old LUCY. We are right next to the largest urban parks in Prague, beautiful Stromovka and Letna parks, so you can perfectly escape the rushy capital and have a relaxing walk in the green part of Prague city but still be in the center with a lovely stroll through LETNA park and a walk over the Vltava river or a tram ride of 5 minutes. There are shops, groceries and restaurants or cafes all around as well. Google Letna to find out how up and coming our trendy art nouveau neighborhood has become. Our flat isn't a palace but it is nice and welcoming and we ask you to take care of it and we'll respect and care for your home. Vadim's Dad Albert lives one street away and can let you in and help you get keys and get set up! Since we run a scholar-led guided walks company in Prague and other cities (Insight Cities) we can give you about as many recommendations how to enjoy to Prague w kids or without as you can imagine!

More about us

  1. We're a middle-aged couple with a lovely 10 year old daughter. I'm a former professor and my husband Vadim and I run the scholar-led guided walks company,, which specializes in history tours with professors, journalists, graduate students and other local experts.

  2. Our daughter Lucy is well-traveled and is careful and respectful of others and their homes. We love books, cities, museums, cultural experiences, the arts, and we hope we have many wonderful home exchanges with others who have the same delights.

  3. We have already enjoyed 10+ successful home exchanges on another platform--from Los Angeles to Barcelona to Budapest to Venice-- and we're excited to double the options since we love this way of traveling.
