About our home

We have a nice top floor apartment (145sqm) 3 bedrooms and large kitchen + dining + sitting area + two bathrooms. We have washer, dishwasher, wifi, ... . The house is owned by the owners of the apartments and it is well kept. Several of our neighbors are academics and professors. The apartment is very light. The front view is a composition of the roof of the house across the street and the skies. The side view has got the famous Prague Castle.

More about us

I am a computer science professor at the Czech Technical University seeking home exchange for my three months sabbatical in 2010 at USC, LA (exact dates will be provided by email). I will come with three well-behaved daughters and wife.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The apartment is a nice 15 minutes walk from Prague castle, half an hour walk to the old city downtown, 5-10 minutes to the public underground system (which is clean, safe and comfortable). There are small shops in the area (within the range of 10 minutes walk) and many nice, interesting and good quality restaurants. The area where we live is one of most sought-for areas in the city. It has got international flavor as there are many embassies in our neighborhood (the American ambassador residence is just one block away). The university campus is 15 minutes walk. The apartment is 20 minutes taxi drive from the airport, which is major Central European hub with great connections to many European cities.
