2 large sunny rooms, separate kitchen, large windows, lots of light. The living room and kitchen windows show greenery, bedroom windows give into a quiet back-end street. The bedroom has a king size bed, a library (some books are in English) and an office table. There is balcony with summer furniture for eating and relaxing from the bedroom. The living room has a sofa which can be turned into queen size bed and seating arrangement. Appartment next door (studio) might be available as well, we are trying to buy it. Large collection of DVDs in English, possible to watch it on lap-top computer. No TV. Garage or parking outside is available. Housecleaning may be available on demand. Smoking only on the balcony please. I am sorry but our appartment is not very suitable for less mobile persons (sitting on cushions on the floor).
The area of Andel is very close to the center of Prague, reachable by metro (5 minutes walk) or tram (7 minutes walk). There are old and new buildings in the area and there was massive gentrification about 5 years ago. Only 5 minutes uphill by a forest path or 10 minutes by car to our favourite restaurant in Prague, althoug the area is full of nice local and international restaurants. There are 2 multiplex cinemas and a shopping center with health club 10 minutes by foot from the appartment. Some more 10 minutes will take you to theatres, historical buildings and the river. There is the Prague brewery with tours and a good restaurant 5 minutes by foot. One of the best wine merchants in Prague is 7 minutes by foot. There is an indoor golf hall and another health club with squash courts 5 minutes by car or tram and an interesting golf course (steep hills!) 10 minutes by car.
We are Alexandra and Ivo, a married young couple with no children (yet), both professionals. We do not have pets, plants or television, so we are free to go to theatre, read books or just cosy up with each other. We like to cook, so you will have an equipped kitchen and a few cookbooks in English available, as well as some gastro guides :-) We do not have musical instruments at home but you can find a decent collection of music in our library.
