About our home

We have the comfort of living on a quiet street, just walking distance of all main Prague's monuments, many varied and fantastic restaurants, just steps away from public transport. Our flat is built for living, enjoying yourself and good relax after work and the roof top terrace is an amazing place for BBQ or sipping wine.

Features

More about us

  1. Couple who loves travelling-Lucie (Czech,41) and Gavin(Australian,40).. .We have traveled for few years and trough few continents to return to place where we met for the first time. The flat was our dream - near the city center, yet quiet- place, where we can see stars and hear birds singing, but we can also get spoiled with the cultural events and easy short walking distance to the heart of the city. After our kids were born (Oliver 10, Zara 8) we have been running a villa in Tuscany, our family owned B&B in Byron Bay, Australia and now we are living back in Prague, where kids go to school and we are happy to do swaps as often as our schedule allow us.

  2. We love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I'am very interested in history, art and architecture, Gavin loves to try different cuisines and to cook meals from all over the world. We ski and snowboard in winter, enjoy the beach in summer, play frisbee in spring and we are happy to take the the bikes for a ride.

  3. after 30+ successful swaps we love this way of travel and sharing. Hotels are fine, but the added value of swaps are the local knowledge, toys for kids, own space and respect to the homes and friendships.

Neighbourhood

Quiet for being in city center. Vinohrady- the name of the town quorter means that it was wine yeards in the past. It is cobbled one way street, last/6th floor with roof-top terrace-you can see the city under you, but not hear it. Great restaurants and not so expensive (touristy) ones just within the block, two lines of metro very close to the flat and the beautiful square Namesti Miru with old church just about 300m away. If you want to see the main tourist attractions of this ancient city, you will this the ideal place - handy to everything but a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood. If you want to go out of town, you have a great connection to the train station (2stops by metro or walk) and you can go to castles, mountains, forests or surrounding towns. Come and experience this fantastic city and live like a local.
