About our home

Delightful, thatched roof vacation home with panoramic view over the Lillebælt sea having private stair access directly to the beach 30 m from the terrace. The vacation home is 140m2 with all modern facilities situated on a 1068m2 of land with a beautiful garden and numerous trees and bushes.
The home is beautifully furnished with comfortable, quality furniture, creating a warm, cozy atmosphere. The ground floor living room has a wood stove, as well as the upstairs living room/lounge. Electric heat is also available in each room. Exceptional features include a large bedroom on the ground floor with a wood stove, a TV/ lounge area, private bath, and direct access to the terrace, and exceptional views of the sea from the two dining rooms, the two living rooms, the two bedrooms, and the kitchen.


More about us

  1. We are Suzanne and Vicente, a married couple interested in travel most anywhere in the world. Of particular interest for 2013 is Europe, the Americas and Asia. However, we are open to other suggestions. Suzanne, a Danish physiotherapist, has the freedom to travel most times of the year for extended periods. Vicente is a retired university physics professor and enjoys traveling with his wife anytime, anywhere. Car exchange is available.

Where is it?


Located in a summer house area with children friendly beach, good fishing, and nearby bird sanctuary. The nearby coastal town of Assens (10km) has many interesting sites of interest, golf courses, theatre, good shopping, and a gateway to other local islands.

There are many nearby castles, some of which you may visit, one having an incredible collection of vintage cars from around the world. Ribe, the oldest village in Denmark (800 AD) is a real gem to visit, offering several Viking museums.

Odense, the largest city on Fyn, offers the HC Andersen Hus and museum, located in the oldest part of the city taking you back over 200 years in history. Its mid-week and weekend markets offer fresh produce, cheeses, flowers, entertainment and many other products of Fyn (the Garden of Denmark.) The central, cobbled-stoned shopping streets are famous for their quality and variety.
