“Nous tenons à remercier et recommander la famille de Bagsvaerd. Une maison chaleureuse et calme, proche de Copenhague, une proximité immédiate avec la capitale mais aussi avec la plage, les curiosités et les lacs des environs. Un séjour préparé dans une excellente entente qui fait de notre première expérience une réussite. merci! Dominique”
Ann-Sofie's reviewsAs a host (4)
“We spent a very enjoyable week in Copenhagen over the Easter holidays. Ann-Sofie\'s home was very comfortable and ideally located on the outskirts of Copenhagen. Access to the centre was easy by car but there was also a train station only 200 meters away. There was plenty to do locally and a week was not enough to take it all in. Everyone in Denmark could speak English and were more than helpful with directions and suggestions. All communications and the exchange itself went perfectly. Ann-Sofie, Rasmus, Elvira and Katinka took great care of our home and car and we would recommend an exchange with them. Thanks for the great week.”
“Nice house with two big gardens. Ideal with kids (lots of toys, swing, wooden house, etc) You can reach the centre of Copenhagen easily by train but the location of the house is wonderful. Very close to a lake and a forest, you can spend the day around, using bikes or going on a boat trip around the lake. Copenhagen is a marvelous city but there are lots of things to do in the outskirts too.”
“Beautiful house with garden ideal for children. Close to a nice lake and woods and easy access to central Copenhagen. The owners were very nice and helpful”
Where is it?
We live in a town called Bagsværd. It is situated about 15 km north of Copenhagen City. Bagsværd lake is near our house as well as a lovely forest. In Bagsværd you will find several supermarkets, cafe and different shops like baker, butcher, clothes shops, jewelers ect. We have a family friendly indoor pool nearby. There is very easy acces to Copenhagen City by train (25 min), car (15 min) or bicycle. Bagsværd Lake is part of a lake area with several lakes connected by canals, mostly surrounded by forrest. During the summer the lakes and canals are served by "wather busses" and it's an ideal area for use of canoes and kayaks which can be hired various places around the lakes. The area contains many points of interest, like artmuseums, museum of ealy industrialization and an open air musum with a 19th century village environment. All within reach over wather or on bike. A half day trip by foot can bring you to a the senic art musum Sophienholm, the forrest restaurant and microbrewery Skovlyst or to the official residence of the Danish Prime Minister.
