About our home

Family house, drawn by a famous, danish architect, placed in quiet and idyllic surroundings in a friendly neighborhood. Easy access to city as well as nature. Just outside the yard there are horses (see picture from the living room). The interior is modern with classic, danish designs.
The house is suited well for families as well as couples. Facilities are up to date with modern everyday equipment.

More about us

  1. I am in the middle of the 50's. I am a school teacher and a part of the management of a school in Aarhus. I have 4 now grown up children. Though I am living by myself in the house, it is often full of people - my friends, children and grandchildren. In my everyday life, I have turned two of the children's rooms into a workshop, where I foster my interest for painting, sewing and all round handcraft.
I love to travel with my children or with friends.

Where is it?

The house is placed on a quiet street on the top of a hill above lake, city and forrest which means great view from within the house as well as from the garden. The street is made up of 20 house, all with very friendly and forthcoming neighbors. There's just a few minutes walk to the bus that takes you to the center of Aarhus in 20 minutes. - Or 10 minutes by car.
Aarhus is a very old, quaint danish city, founded by the vikings because of its placement by the sea. The city has plenty of lovely beaches, museums, like ARoS with a brand new Olafur Elliason installation on top of it.

The house is placed very central in Denmark with only a few minutes to highway connections. 3 hours from Copenhagen and 1 hour from Legoland and airport (Billund)
