About our home

In our house you can relaxe after a nice day in Copenhagen. You can enjoy our big and quiet garden, make a barbeque on our terrace, and if you have small children, they can play in the garden or in the house. We also have a cat that is very friendly if you remember to feed him. We have three bedrooms, two with tall beds for kids, and one adult bedroom, living room, kitchen and entrance with total area of 73 square meters. In the basement we have a guest room with one large bed and a large room with a large desk with computer and sewing machine. This is a typical small Danish middleclass family house. We also have bicycles that can be taken with the S-train into the center of Copenhagen, or you can explore the neighbourhood for example by having an icecream or a cup of coffee by the small lake, Damhussøen. There are also several playgrounds nearby.

More about us

  1. We are Gry (f) and Rasmus (m), a married couple with two children, Selma, a girl aged 8 and Malthe, a boy aged 4. We are both professionals (communication and economics) and especially Gry has travelled a lot. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds like a great way to see another country and to travel with kids.

Where is it?

Ideally located as a touring base, our suburban area Brønshøj, offers easy access to the Copenhagen area and its surroundings. A 5 minutes walk to the S-train and a 20 min. train trip will take you to the center of Copenhagen. Copenhagen has both museums, shopping areas, an old center, a habour and nice surroundings like beaches and forests. But it is also a city which is nice for children, with zoo, tivoli, castles, playgrounds, and children-areas in all of the museums. It is a good city for bycycles.
