This charming 2 bedroom apartement is in THE center of beautiful Copenhagen.
The apartment building dates back to 1889 but has been kept well since then. Its located in the old town in historical surroundings - many hundred years old.
You can even see an old canonball in one of the walls back from the 1600ies, when Copenhagen was attacked by the Swedes. The famous Queen soldiers march through the street every day playing beautiful music in their stunning and colourfull uniforms - a rare sight not to be missed.
The bedroom only holds a two-person bed, but I'll be happy to find matresses for children or other guests in the home.
You could not wish for a more central location in a quiet, no traffic street in the capital of Denmark.
Looking for: Exchange with home in Sydney Area from sep/oct 2010 and for 3-6 months. Or Hawaii in june/july 2010.
The famous pedestrian shopping street called "Strøget" is just around the corner with all the best shops you could wish for.
The neigbourhood is scattered with sights. Let it be art galleries, museums, The Opera, theaters, restaurants, cafés, the Royal Palace, shopping - it is all at hand within walking distance. Take a stroll down the famous harbourfront "Nyhavn" and enjoy a seafood platter on the waterfront or grab a cold beer. When in Nyhavn, the Danes really get into the typical Danish term "Hygge" - we relax and forget all about the worries of our life. Now it's time to have a good time in the company of friends. That's all that matter.
Copenhagen centre is small, so you can easily walk, bicykle or take one of the many busses. Copenhagen is one of the 3 most beautifull cities in Europe. Strict laws and restauring of all houses has prevented new ugly buildings and kept the city unspoilt like old times. Copenhagen looks like a Ferry Tale. Most people speak english.
The metro is just 100 meters away and takes you to the beach in 12 minutes and to the airport in 16 minutes!

X-mas shopping in London, romantic getaway in Paris or a quick stopover in Norway? All of this is within easy reach from Copenhagen and at a central spot in Europe. You can also take the nearby train to Sweden (Malmö) for a visit in this nice town - in just 45 minutes!
