Where is it?

We live in a quiet and safe neighbourhood in Northern Copenhagen.

Our home is 20 min. from the Copenhagen city centre by train, bus or car. The famous Arne Jacobsen town hall, numerous lakes and the forrest are all in a 5-10 min. walking distance. Going by car you'll reach a nice clean beach in 10min (from where you'll be able to see Sweden in the distance). You can also go to Søllerød Kro (which is one of Copenhagens many Michelin star restaurants) - this will take you 5-10min. Every sunday you'll find a superbe flea market (10 min walk) where you can make a great bargain if you're looking for Danish design classics, second hand designer clothing or antiques. The market is just next to the famous Arne Jacobsen town Hall.

You’ll get to the Copenhagen city center in 20-30 minutes where you'll be able to visit Tivoli, The Little Mermaid, Nyhavn, Freetown Christiania or hundreds of historical and cultural sites. Copenhagen is a very popular destination of gastro tourists as it's the home many Michelin Star restaurants, among that NOMA - named the Worlds best restaurant for several years. But make sure to make your reservation months in advance. We will of course be happy to help you with that or to give you any other advice or reccomendations.

Sweden makes a perfect daytrip you'll get there within an hour (bridge or ferry). We also recommend you to take the scenic drive up north, where you can visit Kronborg Castle, which was the actual setting of Shakespears Hamlet and is a UNESCO world herritage site. You'll get there in about 30 min. On your way you will pass The LOUISIANA Museum of Modern Art, which is an absolut must-see if you're interested in contemporary art and architecture and is included in Patricia Schultz' book “1000 Places to See before You Die”
