About our home

Spacious family home with garden. Close to Copenhagen, the beach and forest, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Hamlet's Kronborg Castle, the Viking Ship Museum, and many other sights. A lot to do and see for both children and adults - whether you are interested in art, design, architecture, food, a day on the beach, exploring nature and at the same time want to be close to the buzz of Copenhagen.

Our home is a bright linked house, a typical example of Danish cosy and modern architecture. Welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Peaceful and quiet. You imidiately feel at home.

Terrace and garden with barbecue, lawn, berries, herbs, and flowers. Trampoline and sandpit. Little playground and green area just outside the door. Shopping center 3 minutes from the house. Parking just in front of the house. Bicycles - four for adults or teenagers + one for small children. Lots of toys. Possible to exchange cars.

2 living rooms (sofas in both) and 4 bed rooms. One with a double bed and the others with single beds. Two of the single beds can be converted to double beds.

Our home is located 5 minutes from the train station and the highway where you can easily reach both Copenhagen (35 min.), Helsingør/Elsinore (10 min.), and other parts of Denmark - e.g. Roskilde (the Viking Ship Museum), Odense (home of H. C. Andersen), Billund (Legoland), and Aarhus. From Helsingør you can also take a day trip to Sweden (the ferry takes 20 minutes).

More about us

  1. Hi! We are Michael, Nanna, and three daughters (11, 19 and 22 - often our eldest daughter doesn't travel with us anymore). Michael is a senior advisor at the University of Copenhagen and Nanna is a communication consultant. We are interested in culture, sport, nature, food e.g. Open for new experiences and love to travel. We have already made great home exchanges with families in France, Spain, Germany, and Iceland. These were some of our best holidays ever. We really love this opportunity to see new corners of the world and get to know everyday life at our destinations.
