About our home

The house is a two storey suburban home, in the middle of a small town called Galten - only 20 minutes from the center of Aarhus.
We have just finished a major renovation and extension, so the house now looks almost completely new. Total m2 175. 5 bedrooms in total - one master, 2 children rooms with beds 70*170 cm, and 2 teenage rooms with full size beds (possible queens) in lofts in connection with the ordinary rooms. Not full height.

Outside there is a wonderful garden with lots of flowers, 2 terraces both east and westbound and a roof terrace sized 35m2 and very sunny- all with furniture. On the north side there is a playground with swings, sandbox and an in-ground trampolin. Our children have had a lot of fun out here.
The house is placed on a small road without throughgoing traffic, close to the city park.

In the backyard we have chickens and our rooster "Hannibal". You will be able to collect fresh eggs every day and only need to them one-twice every week.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 6 - Julie is 40 and works as a Business Controller, Jakob is 47 years old and a paramedic and 4 girls, Freja (2004), Sarah (2006), Mille - born in 2012 and the baby of the family Signe from 2014.
The Picture shows us after a rather wet (sudden heavy rain) geocaching walk in the south of France in 2017.
You can collect eggs in the backyard, where we have chickens - and they will appreciate some water and food every other day or so.

    We are non smokers.

We are always open to new opportunities - and will always answer any requests.

We think you will be just as enthusiastic about the house and garden as we are :-)
Naturally - we will treat your home with the respect it deserves - as we know you'll treat ours.

We have made 4 exchanges by now, Holland, Austria and 2 times France, and looking forward to doing lots more. :)
