About our home

We enjoy a spacious apartment with lots of light in a quiet neighbourhood.
We have 2 bedrooms with double beds, one living room with couch and televion and one creativity room we call it, which we use for different purposes: dancing, meditation, yoga, painting, dining room, guest room. We are on the second floor with a garden with tables (and a barbecue) where you can enjoy meals.

Neighbourhood

Our apartment is far enough away from the town traffic and has easy acces to Copenhagen by trains and busses. Hellerup train station is nearby and takes you easily to the center of town and all its attractions in 10 minutes. We have three bicycles and it has recently become free to take your bicycle on the train.
It is only 10 min on a bicycle to the beach called Charlottenlund Fort where many people go to swim and just be on the beach or picnic lunch or dinner in the grass. There is a café, a camping site which is the nearest to Copenhagen, and a restaurant with a nice view.
Hellerup has a shopping street with a variety of shops and cafés.
Klampenborg Dyrehave is a national park where you can go for long nice walks and see the deers and animal life. You can go on a horse carriage. There is also a huge amusement park there called Bakken (two train stops)
And then there is Copenhagen which has all the variety of a capital city on a small scale. The bicycle culture is especially developed in Copenhagen and is gradually forming quarters of the city. We have our favourite mediteranean and japanese restaurants, cafés by the lakes and art museums, venue places for world music. Any taste is possible. A lot of good options for kids.
