About our home

Our summerhouse is welcoming and cosy. We have a large living/dining area with a wood stove, books, CD player, tv and Blueray/DVD player. There are also lots of DVDs. There are two bedrooms in the house with another room entered from off the deck. There is also a kitchen and bathroom. The deck faces west, so sunshine all the day and evening. There is a big garden to play soccer, badminton, etc. (provided).
Between the back of the house and the garage is another dining area which is nice for breakfast.
The garage is not for cars - it houses all the tools, games, bicycles, etc. There is a driveway to park your car. The garden has many mature trees, rhododendrons, ferns and flowers.

Where is it?

The great bay at Sejrøbugten is part of the 'Danish Riviera'. Its blue flag beach is considered one of the five best in the country, with low dunes and shallow, child-friendly waters. It faces west and the sunsets are wonderful.
The beach is 15 minutes walk or 5 by cycle from the house, where you go down through the other summerhouses. Its green, wooded, safe and friendly.
The county - Odsherred - is also Denmark's only UNESCO Geopark, an area of outstanding geographical and historic importance. It was created by the last ice age and has been continuously inhabited since the stone age.
Odsherred is thus both beautiful and interesting, with lots to visit, see and do. Great drives, walks, cycle routes - or visit some of the islands. Sommerland Sjælland water park is 20 minutes away by car. Buy your fish and organic veg at the local harbour.
Nearest shop 3km. Nearest town, with shops and cinema, 15km. Copenhagen 100km. Ferry to Aarhus (European City of Culture 2017) 20km.
