About our home

Our home is a small two-storey townhouse, right in the middle of Horsens. Most of the house was completely refurbished in 2010, with respect for the property's age (built in 1885). It has 1 fairly large bedroom with a single bed, but with the possibility for an extra bed (mattress on the floor), 1 small bedroom with a queen-size bed, and 1 small bedroom, with a single bed. One bathroom, and an additonal toilet in the basement. The groundfloor offers a lovely open country-style kitchen, dining area and tv-area. The lovely quiet and private garden area is directly accessible from the groundfloor. The house is situated within a 2 minute walk from the harbour, and within a 10 minute walk from the city centre, with all thinkable shopping opportunities. Just outside of town, are several beaches, forrests and other breathtaking outdoor experiences, with the clean Danish air and water to enjoy. Copenhagen is app. 270 km away, and is reachable by both car or train, within 2,5-3 hours. But when staying in Horsens places that you shouln't miss, and are nearby, are Legoland in Billund, which is app. 50 min. by car, and the exceptional westcoast of Denmark, with it's beautiful wide and endless sandbeaches, often with a great surf and the freshest cleanest air available, which is app. 1 hour and 20 minutes by car.
Just north from Horsens (45 km.), is the city of Aarhus, which offers everything that your heart could desire, from arts (AROS museum) to music and cafées.
We are proud to welcome you to our town, Horsens, and wish you a pleasant stay in our beloved home.
