Where is it?

The house is situated in a safe, no-through-road area in a unique neighborhood with varied houses, perfect for children (and childish souls) safe for rollerskating, cycling or playing out unsupervised.

Only 100m away you find a playground for younger kids and a tabletennis-table for older ones. 200m in the opposite direction there is the city farm (Børnenes Dyremark) with horses, sheep and rabbits. There is also a well-stoked childrens library and a café (Karensminde).

In addition we have Copenhagen's biggest park - Valbyparken - close at hand where you can amuse yourself feeding the roaming sheep and alpachas, play soccer, explore the adventure playground or try your hand on the giant frizzbee course. Alternatively make a fire at the pre-prepared bonfire site (wood provided) or enjoy the scents in the impressive rose gardens.

At the same time, central Copenhagen and its many tourist attractions and sights is on your doorstep (three stops with the metro or via the bus leaving regularly from the local square): The Queens Castle, Tivoli, many museums, boat-tours or self-hire boats in the habour. The free-town Christiania offers a bohemian pulse, querky shops, restaurants etc. Be sure to swim in one or more of the multiple open-air swimming spots in the habour area, enjoying the clean water in the middle of the city, connected to open sea.

Copenhagen has a vibrant and world-famous restaurant scene, amazing scandinavian design and clothes shops and plenty of flea markets for bargain-hunters.
