Our home contains a modern kitchen with all the amenities you would want, to make a nice dinner. The dining room has a Parisian balcony for 2, overviewing the garden. The large living room is decorated with art, posters and pictures we have collected over many years. Nice and cosy master bedroom with a queen size bed. Second bedroom has another queen size bed. Its our daughters room, so you will find drawing tools, books for kids and a flatscreen TV with DVB player and stereo - feel free to use the toy. The spacious bathroom has a shower and a view over the shared garden and Brumleby. The apartment comprises all necessary amenities such as wireless internet, cable TV, oven, fridge, electric boiler, toaster, dish washer, other kitchen equipment etc. Washing machine, is found in the basement. We offer room for 4-5 persons and could provide an extra madress if needed.

This is one of the most popular residential areas of Copenhagen because the area is extremely calm considering how central it is. It is a very good way to experience what it’s like living in Copenhagen.

More about us

  1. Heidi is the manager of a library in Copenhagen and Frantz works as a production designer in film, TV and commercials. Our daughter Aja is 9 years old, plays handball and sings in a gospel choir. We love to live very close to the city center, but still near the beach, so east of Copenhagen is a great place to live.

We have had three experiences with home exchange. All where a huge succes, and we hope to try again soon.

Where is it?

Østerbro is located in the north/eastern part of Copenhagen city centre and offers large green areas, open spaces and proximity to the waterfront. In the 1800's - when the area was still a no build zone - it was a favorite excursion spot for Copenhageners wishing to escape the noise of the city. Today it is one of Copenhagen's most attractive and expensive living areas, which also reflects the range of exclusive designer shops.

Brumleby is a green and safe area where kids can play in one of many parks or go to the beach. Inside of Brumleby kids can bicycle and enjoy the playground. Its located close to Hellerup Beach, The Lakes, The Little Mermaide, Danish Art Museum, beautiful parks, shopping, and lots of good restaurants and cafés and close to public transport (Bus 1 min – train 5 min). From the airport it will take you aprox. 25 min with the Metro and bus 14 from Nørreport Station will park just outside of Brumleby.
