About our home

Our flat, built in 1876 is situated in the center of Copenhagen in an elite neighborhood. The flat is on the first floor and overlooks Churchhill Park and Kastellet. We are a 5-minute walk to the Little Mermaid, Amalienborg, the Queens primary residence, Ny Haven and Kongens Nytorv. All are within a 5 to 15-minute walk from our flat. We are a five min. walk to the train station, 15 min walk to the Metro and 20 min. (by Metro) to the Copenhagen airport. You can also do it Copenhagen-style and borrow our two bikes. The apartment has two large bedrooms. There are two big rooms that comprise living room and dining room and are separated by glass french doors. The living room overlooks a beautiful green park and lake. There is one restroom, one a shower, washer, and dryer. On the corner of our block is a lovely organic restaurant, corner grocery store, a French bistro and one of the best coffee shops in town. Everything is within walking distance (restaurants, takeaway places, cafés, pharmacy, bank, supermarket, post office, 3 bakeries!). Very comfortable living in the center of Copenhagen. Smoking is not allowed in the flat.
We have hardwood floors with area rugs, high ceilings and we like to think of our style as "eclectic", warm and cozy. We also have a two bedroom, 2 bathroom house located on The Big Island of Hawaii that could be available for a non-simultaneous swap.
