About our home

3 story townhouse, perfect for family gatherings, right in town but still surrounded by nature and water. 2 patios and huge communal garden that kids can roam around freely.
Our house is situated in the area of Christianshavn/Holmen/Refshaleøen in central Copenhagen. Its newly built with many young families in the area. The surroundings are green and near water, the canals, Christiania and Lynetten Marina.
3 storey house with 3 bedrooms. 1 of the bedrooms has a bunk bed for kids, but it is very big so adults can sleep here as well.
There is 1 bathroom with toilet upstairs and 1 guest toilet downstairs. The green area surrounding the house, is for all residents who live here, so be respectful of others. We have a giant trampoline for all to share, kids and adults.
Only the whole house is for rent, not just a room.
Your hosts: Catrine & Henrik, we have been living here for 4 years, love the green surroundings, hanging out with our neighbours and friends. We are busy with work, love to travel, going out and hitting the beach/park at any given chance! We have 3 lovely girls.

Christianshavn is only a 10 min. walk from here. Amager Beach is 30 min. walk or 10 min by bike.- Church with a fantastic view, 'Our Saviours Church'- Most museums and sights in central Copenhagen are all within 30 min. walk.- Tivoli Gardens .
Great places for coffee and snacks/meals in Christianshavn Specially loads of coffee/breakfast places.
The Royal Libery, Black Diamond- Copenhagen Harbour swim bath.
HOLMEN:Holmen is characterized by a mixture of old military buildings and new residential developments and is the home of many creative business like advertising agencies and architectural practices as well as creative educational institutions like Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the Danish Film School.
Christianshavn:Christianshavn is a lively, primarily residential area with canals running through.Christiania is 5 min walk away. The perfect place to chill on a sunday afternoon.Christiania, also known as Freetown Christiania (Danish: Fristaden Christiania) is a self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood, covering 34 hectares. Its has a established semi-legal status as an independent community in an area of abandoned military barracks, appears as a "city within the city". It has a considerable population and is a venue for many cultural events as well as experimental and idiosyncratic.
In Christiania the creative and recreational values are found in rich measure. In fact, the green ramparts of Christiania appear much more recreational and attractive to visitors than the well kept, deserted areas under the care of municipal Copenhagen. Christiania has become home to several ventures such as carpenters, blacksmiths, a bikeshop, as well as several cafés, restaurants, jazz, blues and night clubs, galleries, music venues and a 24/7 bakery. There is also a small bazaar in front of Pusher Street with small vendors and pipe sellers.
