About our home

Our home was completely renovated in 2017. Julie works in a museum and Pelle worjs with innovation in the Healthcare Sector. Julie loves playing the piano (please do play your favorite song on it!) and Pelle is the outdoor type. A new balcony is being built as if august 2019 and we can't wait to hang out there all the time.

The appartment has a large and spacious open kitchen / living space, ensuite with a livingroom where we have books and a piano and two seperate bedrooms (One with kingsize bed and one for future kids). Across is a new bathroom from 2017 w. heating in the floor.

Within the first 400 meters you'll find serveral very nice cafées, a cinema, brewery, flowerist, hairdresser, bakery, plenty of fastfood and good restaurants. The appartment is located in the multicultural and hip area, on a quiet street with mostly bikes and pedestrians.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a large double bed + an inflatable airmadress (automatic). This is for the 3rd person. From april 2020 we will have a kids-room too. We have a cleaning lady, and we kindly ask you to cover the fee (400 dkk / 55 euro)

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Guldbergsgade is heart of Nørrebro: Cozy, vibrant and young at heart;
Guldbergsgade/Elmegade is a popular and vibrant hotspot in Nørrebro. The streets buzzes with activity and is known for its small creative boutiques, bars, take away’s and cafes. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy, and as that extra thing to make the weekend lively.

Buzzy restaurants
Nørrebro holds on many mouthwatering restaurants with everything from the world’s only Michelin-starred thai restaurant, the modern Nordic cuisine, juicy sliders and gastronomic havens serving dinner with a kapow of flavour.
Cool bars
If there is something that Nørrebro understands to master, then it is the nightlife scene. Nørrebro is always a fierce choice if you are thirsty for beer or cocktails and need a good night out. There is something for everyone – except perhaps the really posh bars that you'll find in the city centre (8 min on bike).
Cozy cafés
The colourful, vibrant Nørrebro boasts a wide range of hip and cozy cafés. Relax in the sun, set the clock on pause, and enjoy the best eggs benedict at Mirabelle down the street, or visit our favorite local brewery BRuS right across.
Retail therapy
Walking down the street, you see many interesting shopping opportunities – especially fashion and design shops like Carrhart, Acne, Won Hundred and the small independent shops like Le Fix and BauBau (high end second hand shop). Jægersborggade is another very cozy street (just a 8 min walk through the park) and home to many interesting quirky shops. Also within 5 min you'll find Ravnsborggade - the place to go if you are looking for antiques and second-hand, or a good bar. We love Kind of Blue (bluesbar).
Bit of culture
ALICE is a new scene down the street. It's a fusion of the famous Copenhagen Jazzhouse and the global Scene. There's vibrant bands from around the world playing every weekend. When the concert is over you are close to the the most vibrant bars in the area. All literally within 7 min walk from our apartment!
Walks in the park
Assistens Cemetery Burial ground, is the #1 green oasis for locals in Copenhagen. It's a cultural treasury and the final resting place of famous Danes, like fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen and philosopher Søren Kierkegaard. For more than 250 years, it's been the main Copenhagen cementary. Today the cemetery is one of the Nørrebro area's most interesting and lush green oases, where both locals and visitors go for a stroll. Assistens Kirkegård cemetery in Copenhagen exudes both big and small stories that represent the dead. Here, you will see thousands of gravestones of notable people from the last centuries of Danish history - Hans Christian Andersen and Søren Kierkegaard being the most famous. But also the graves of people like physicists H. C. Ørsted and Niels Bohr and - closer to our own time - the poet Michael Strunge and singer Natasja Saad make Assistens an interesting place to visit. Open every day of the week from 07:00 - 19:00.
Spot of exercise
Down the street you'll find Guldberg Plads - a joint children playground and activity area. Its “artsy” pieces make the place more enjoyable, and in addition there is also a ball court open for everyone. This urban free space offers several possibilities for a complete workout. Nearby is also the SKATE PARK in Fælledparken inside Fælledparken, a newly built large skate park visited by world renowned skaters.
Day tripping
If you hop on a train you can visit Elsinore - Kronborg Castle (home of Hamlet). Located just 40 minutes north from Copenhagen, Elsinore is where history meets the sea, and cutting-edge culture meets the city's rough seaport heritage. Or see The Vikings in Roskilde: Once the capital of Denmark, Roskilde oozes of history and is a must for anyone with a knack for Vikings. Roskilde is a perfect day trip from Copenhagen only 30 minutes away. The region around Copenhagen has sandy beaches, rocky shores and idyllic villages. In other words plenty to explore!
