Favorite places in Cph
Swimmingpool in the harbour (outside) at Islands Brygge.
Papirøen, cosy food and chilling. Really nice hangout close to Christiania.
Torvehallerne (food) Nørreport
Christiania, make sure to take a walk and see more than Pusherstreet (that i hate)
Nice urban Streets:
Tivoli IS nice. (Free concerts every friday, and a big party)
Gl Kongevej, start at Frederiksberg Rådhus, the other end is boring. Ends at Vesterport Station.
Gay Area: Both streets parallel
Nice places in the sun to take a break: Frederiksberg Have, Kongens have (center, 2 minuts from Nørreport, really busy), Ørstedparken (gay), Assistent (cementary where people take sun on the gravestones)
Rent a bike, show STOP with a hand in the air if you stop!! Every time! There are many bikes in Copenhagen. Nice places to bike: cykelslangen, Nørrebroparken, islands brygge, søerne.
Østerbrogade is nice (people say, i find it BORING)
Amager strand (metro)
Fortet (bit outside the City)
Svanemølle Strand (bus)
I dont go out much, to find the best place for you, try AOK.dk (everything about Copenhagen) or visitcopenhagen.dk.
Popular things to do:
Have homemade icecream in Nyhavn. Or a beer. Or 10!
Go on The Canals (cheapest canaltour is right side of Nyhavn). Tales 1-2 hours and visits The Little (boring) mermaid.
Visit Toldboden close to Gefion, Østerbro. Nice hangout for people in their twentys. My son Benjamin works there. Good popular brunch. Often live music.
I am not much of a shopper (anymore). But Strøget is a must. Magasin (Mall at Kgs Nytorv). Pisserenden (left of strøget close to Rådhuspladsen if Vesterbrogade is on your backside.
Ny Østergade. Nice and expensive close to Kgs Nytorv and legendary in spot Cafe Victor.
Vesterbrogade, very Urban and many cafes.
Søerne, be seen walking your stroller on a sunday
